Time Entries — How To: Submit Week for Approval (Employee)

Purpose

Send your weekly timesheet to your manager for approval. After submission, the week becomes locked for editing.


Before You Start

  • All days must have time entries or approved absences.

  • No blocking inconsistencies.

  • Week must be in Draft status.


Steps

  1. Go to Time Entries > My Time Entries.

  2. Review all entries.

  3. Click Submit Week.

  4. If overtime exists, enter mandatory description.

  5. Confirm submission.


Important Rules

  • Submitted weeks cannot be edited.

  • Rejected status does NOT unlock the week.

  • Manager must reopen the week to allow changes.


Common Issues

Issue: Submit button is disabled
Likely cause: Week already submitted
How to solve: Contact your manager


Issue: Week was rejected but still locked
Likely cause: Rejection does not reopen automatically.
How to solve: Ask your manager to reopen the week.
