Time Entries — How To: Register Daily Time Entries

Purpose

Record worked hours correctly so the week can be submitted and approved. After saving, entries are stored in Draft status and can be edited until the week is submitted.


Before You Start

  • You must have the Employee profile.

  • The period (week) must be open.

  • You must know which time tracking method your company uses (Check-In/Out, Free Booking, or Total Hours).

  • No locked week (already submitted).


Steps

  1. Go to Time Entries > My Time Entries.

  2. Select the correct day.

  3. Register time according to your company method:

    • Check-In/Check-Out: Click Check In → select activity → Save. Repeat for Check Out.

    • Free Booking: Click “+” → select activity → enter start/end time → Save.

    • Total Hours: Click “+” → select activity → enter total hours → Save.

  4. Confirm the entry appears in the daily grid.


Important Rules

  • Only worked hours should be recorded.

  • Breaks/lunch are not manually recorded.

  • Entries remain editable until the week is submitted.

  • After week submission, entries are locked.


Common Issues

Issue: I cannot edit my time entry
Likely cause: The week was already submitted.
How to solve: Ask your manager to reopen the week.


Issue: I cannot submit the week
Likely cause: There is a day without records.
How to solve: Complete missing time entries or submit an absence request.
